Benefits and Objectives of Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme
(i) Free medical facility up to Rs 10 lakh in all government and listed private hospitals in the state.
(ii) Under Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojna, free treatment of General Illness Rs.1 lakh and Critical Illness Rs.9 lakh per annum.
(iii) Under this scheme, 1576 types of packages and procedures are available for diseases.
(iv) Expenses / expenses up to five days before hospitalization and 15 days after discharge will be covered under this insurance.
(v) Those who are already getting the benefit of Mahatma Gandhi Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance Scheme do not need to register.
(vi) Rajistren camps are being run at the village level as well as at the ward level in the cities and villages.
(vii) Registration for this scheme can be done on any e-Mitra free of cost and the registration fee will be borne by the state government.
(viii) Small and marginal farmers and contract workers will also have to get registered so that they can also get the benefit of this health insurance. But the good thing is that their premium will be paid by the state government.
Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme Premium
Eligible families will have to deposit 50% of the insurance premium i.e. minimum Rs. 850. The premium of small and marginal farmers and contract workers will be borne by the Rajasthan government. But they have to register for this scheme, then only they can get the benefit of cashless health services up to Rs 10 lakh.
Government employees of Rajasthan have been kept out of this scheme. For them, the state government has implemented the Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS) to provide the benefit of cashless insurance on the lines of the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS).
